About Relationship Abuse Recovery

Built around women’s needs.

Relationship Abuse Recovery exists to help women access thoughtful care for relationship harm, trauma, difficult emotions and substance use. Our purpose is to meet women where they are and help them identify a meaningful next step.

Why Win Siwa built this practice

Win Siwa founded Relationship Abuse Recovery out of a desire to work with women and respond to needs that do not always fit neatly into one service. She wanted women to have a place where their experiences, ways of coping and practical circumstances could be considered together.

That purpose informs her focus on anger and emotional regulation, addictions and trauma. Her CAMS-II credential, addictions focus and EMDR training reflect a commitment to understanding the different ways women may struggle, adapt and seek relief.

A clinical focus that reflects that purpose

CAMS-II

Anger & emotional regulation

Certified Anger Management Specialist-II. A focus on understanding strong emotions, noticing patterns and developing more constructive responses.

Addictions focus

Substance use & coping

Win is working toward Licensed Addiction Counselor licensure. Her addictions focus includes substance use and coping patterns, with attention to distress, ambivalence and goals for change.

EMDR Trained

Trauma & recovery

A trauma-focused perspective that respects readiness, safety and choice. Treatment approaches are selected according to individual needs.

Understanding complex circumstances

For some women, seeking care also involves a referral from a court, probation office or another professional. These circumstances deserve careful assessment and clear communication, alongside respect for the person seeking help.

Our evaluation inquiry process helps clarify the question being asked, the requested scope and the recipient’s requirements. Clinical care and evaluation work have different purposes; the appropriate service is discussed before scheduling.

Meeting you where you are

You may be making sense of relationship harm, seeking help with emotions or substance use, or looking for clarity about an evaluation. We begin by listening to your needs and explaining the available options.
